Water for Wellness – Families

Paddleboarding for families!
Stand-up paddle boarding is one of the most accessible ways to learn to paddle on the water, and if you let it, it will change your life.
This session is designed for families to come together, learn a new sport and enjoy time together working as a team and strengthening their connections as a family.
In this session you will learn skills you never thought you could achieve and build confidence on the water with 2 supportive and reassuring instructors who will focus on your needs. You will learn how calming the mind and body can improve balance and connection, and how the natural flow of the water can work with you to improve your paddling.
You will be put completely at ease, there is no pressure to take part in any activities, the sessions are run at individuals own pace and to their own needs and preferences. Person centred support is very important to Leeanne.
All equipment is provided for these sessions however you have the option to use your own.
This session will last 3 hours and it will be delivered at a sheltered loch, you should be prepared to travel, however if travel is an issue, please get in touch.
There will be two instructors on this session allowing more people to take part as a group with time on and off the water.
Children must be between 8 and 18 with one adult for every two attending.
This session is aimed at families who could not normally access this type of activity.
