SUMMARY:Water for Wellness
DESCRIPTION:If you think you can’t\, you can! \nStand-up paddle boarding is one of the most accessible ways to learn to paddle on the water\, and if you let it\, it will change your life. \nIn this session you will learn skills you never thought you could achieve and build confidence in the water with a supportive and reassuring instructor who will focus on your needs. Person centred support is very important to Leeanne. \nSessions focus on paddling techniques\, safety\, using the breath to calm the mind\, and connecting with self\, others and nature. SUMMARY:The Family Mandala Activity
DESCRIPTION:Create\, Connect\, and Begin Anew \nStart the New Year with a peaceful Family Mandala Art Workshop inspired by the calm of blue space — open skies\, flowing water\, andthe gentle clarity of nature. \nTogether we’ll welcome fresh beginnings through creative mandalas that reflect new perspectives and the moments we cherish outdoors. A meaningful way for families to begin the year with creativity and connection. \nNo previous art experience needed! Just bring your curiosity\, your family\, and your playful spirit. A joyful\, hands-on session for all ages. \nThere will be a range of mixed media and natural materials to use. \n  \nWhy Create Mandalas? \nRepetitive\, circular motions and focusing on symmetry naturally calm the nervous\nsystem. The mandala’s balanced form promotes feelings of order and inner peace\,\nmirroring a sense of inner and family balance. The mandala visually embodies “our\nfamily as one whole\,” while respecting each person’s individuality. The mandala can\nbe displayed at home as a reminder of connection\, resilience\, and balance. \nPrevious families’ comments around attending such sessions: \n “We didn’t realise we were all so creative”\n “We never thought dad would get involved\, we think he enjoyed it the most!”\n “It was good to spend time doing something creative together”\n “It helped us take a step back and think about things\, it was lots of fun too!”\n We have it on our Kitchen wall- It reminds us of happy times!

SUMMARY:Wild Medicine Breathwork with Pamela Taylor.
DESCRIPTION:There are times in life when we lose our sense of grounding… when everything feels heavy\, overwhelming\, or simply too much. \nI know this feeling well. Breathwork became my own place of comfort – a way to come back into my body\, \nto release what I had been holding\, and to find moments of peace again. \n\nWhen I first experienced the Wild Medicine Breathwork\, something shifted. The warmth\, the energy\, the release\, the deep sense of connection… it reminded  me of who I was beneath the stress\, beneath the worry\, beneath the noise. It felt like coming home.\nAnd that is why I felt called to train in this – to offer that same gentle space to others. \nWild Medicine Breathwork is not about trying harder or fixing yourself. It’s about being held in a soft\, supported environment where you can breathe\, feel\, and reconnect in your own time. With simple guided breath\, grounding music\, and compassionate presence\, this practice helps your mind settle and your body let go of tension you may not even realise you’ve been carrying.\nThis space is especially for those who are struggling\, feeling fragile\, or finding their way through difficult emotions. You don’t need to be anything other than who you are\, exactly as you are. \n  \nPLEASE NOTE: \nIf all tickets are issued please add your name to the waiting list and explain your reasons for referral.

DESCRIPTION:Obsessed with the coast/beach? Then here’s a session for you. Come and make your own unique Seaglass and/or Seachina picture to add a touch of the coast to your décor. \nIf you need other reasons to attend you might like to know that research has shown that crafting\, regardless of the medium you use\, can bolster mood\, improve self- confidence\, and reduce stress overall. \nWhat more could you ask for?? \nWe would particularly like to welcome families to join this session and will prioritise people who could not usually afford to participate in this type of activity.

SUMMARY:Family Kayaking
DESCRIPTION:Kayaking can be a great way to get the family on the water and it doesn’t have to be something to fear. \nUsing sheltered water and a mix of solo and tandem kayaks\, this introduction to kayaking is suitable for families who would like to get their children on the water and are happy to join them for support either ‘in the same boat’ or paddling alongside. \nI will be using a calm loch or local harbour where there is plenty scope to play around and learn skills before making a short journey. The focus will be on having fun while learning and working together as a family. If we have to travel a wee bit to get to the best spot transport may be a possibility. \nThere will be two instructors on this session allowing more people to take part as a group with time on and off the water. \nChildren must be between 8 and 18 with one adult for every two attending. \nThis session is aimed at families who could not normally access this type of activity. \nIf the session is oversubscribed there will be a waiting list for a future date or cancellation \n  \n  \n

\nIf the weather allows\, we’ll take our practice outdoors to the beach in Nairn. We’ll gently gather natural treasures along the way – flowers\, pebbles\, shells\, twigs – and together create a beautiful mandala on the sand. This simple ritual helps us slow down\, connect with nature\, and set our intention before we settle into our breathwork journey. If conditions aren’t appropriate outdoors the session will be delivered at the Seaman’s Hall in Nairn. \nConnect with nature \nCreate together \nBreathe\, release and restore \nPLEASE NOTE: \nIf all tickets are issued please add your name to the waiting list and explain your reasons for referral.
